He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in microbiology and bio-physics, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the NYU School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society.

Dr. Schwarz received his BA in biology from the University of Rochester, an MS in medical microbiology from Texas Tech University, and a DDS from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.

Upon graduating dental school in the top of his class, Dr. Schwarz was recognized by the dental honor fraternity Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also received awards as an outstanding student in oral pathology and periodontics, and as the most proficient in general dentistry — bringing exceptional skill to every emergency case.
